Viewing Log, February 17-20
I flew to San Francisco to speak to a group of art students. I stayed in a hotel more or less in the same neighborhood in which I lived from 21-23. I managed to mostly avoid moving images for four days, with a few brief exceptions: half an episode or so of How I Met Your Mother on the Virgin America flight up; an episode and a half of Curb Your Enthusiasm late at night on the hotel TV; about twenty minutes of White Man Can’t Jump on TBS, while packing to leave. Other keywords for the weekend were all non-viewing related: Le Colonial, San Francisco Art Deco Society, Martooni’s, dim sum, singing Marines, ridiculous wine, ridiculous rain, etc.
